| In 2002 my brother (25 years old) fell 18 feet while working construction. He snapped both wrist's and he crushed severall vertebrates including 4, 5 and 6. To this day from when that happened he cant walk and probably never will since he is paralized from the waste on down. _________________

| I was working at a Gamestop in Stow the night it was robbed. I honestly can say I wasn't scared really. I had kept my composure and just did whatever the two guys told me to do. I was also more concerned with the well-being of my co-worker and the one kid that was in the store at the time more than me. I give myself props for thinking of others first.
It wasn't really until a day later or so that it hit me. However, whenever I retell the story to others who want to hear, I usually laugh at some parts when I tell it... I'm serious. I look back on it as a one of a kind experience. _________________

| Oh man. That sucks Kok. That just about happened to my best friend Friday night.
He was at a motocross race. He has raced dirtbikes all his life and that's all he does. Racing was his life. He was really good and usually took first place. The starting gate dropped and him and a bunch of other guys took off. If you've ever seen a race, you know that the first turn is usually where someone wrecks because about 12 bikes racing side by side have to go thru a corner wide enough for about 4 bikes. No one wants to give up his position which is why there's almost always a wreck. Well my friend got caught up with someone else and wrecked his bike and then 3 other guys ran over him. One guy spun out on his back and he's got burns from the tire and a badly bruised and broken back along with a broken neck in 2 places. He'll never be able to ride again. Luckily, he isn't paralyzed and I saw him the other day and he was in good spirits. When he takes his neck brace off though, his hands get all numb and he can't move his arms. That goes to show you how close he really was to being paralyzed.
Then there's the fire at Phantom Fireworks which most of you have probably heard about. I work there with a bunch of my friends. Anyways, I had 2 friends in the semi trailer when the fire started and one of them was all the way in the back and had to jump over flames to get out. If he had tripped or been a couple seconds later, he probably wouldn't be here today.
Both those incidences have really got me thinking about how fragile life is and don't take anything for granted because it could all change in the blink of an eye. _________________

| Probably wrecking my car on I-71. 2 years ago on the eve beforeEaster I was driving and the roads were icy and I wasn't paying attention and was going to miss the Bagley RD. exit so I swerved over and lost control of my car and took out the exit sign and did a 360 across the highway. I thought I was going to die.......My car was totalted, but I was fine. I had some back painfor about 6 months after the accident, but it eventually went away. _________________

330- Props for your selfless thinking. I like that.
KOK- Very sorry to hear about that.
I really can't specify "worst experiences" in my life as of now. I haven't really been alive long enough (or unlucky/reckless and stupid in some people's cases) to have anything awful happen to me.
Like just as one example I used to be terrified of amusement park rides like roller coasters and stuff like that. I was probably like 10 or w/e and I went on a roller coaster because I was forced, and like I went ballistic on the uphill, and on the dive, and such, I was probably crying and stuff, but that's really nothing when compared to what you guys are talking about. _________________

How modest and noble of you lqtm.
BTW, my brother was working at a Subway when it got robbed.
For me... once I was hiking on a ridge in PA during a thunderstorm while it was pouring and we were right on the edge of a trail.
We finally get off when there is a more developed trail away from the ridge we find and then lightning struck within 100 feet of us. After we got off the ridge and camped, we went back and found a tree with the lightning marks spiraled around it and pieces splintered everywhere.
When it struck, we yelled hit the deck, and everybody dropped but one kid who ran around a bit til I yelled at him... kid's kinda slow. _________________

| i havent had an experience like that but my friend had one like that.
it needs a back-up story. every year in ireland groups of people go to stay in areas where irish is still the main language. they have irish lessons but mainly have fun. anyways, my friend was outside playing hurling(irish sport like lacrosse with a rugby goals and the sticks dont have nets) and a kid staying in the same house of my friend took off his helmet and just dropped dead. that was only a few days ago, i heard about it last night. _________________

| My worst experience is watching that dude fall off his skateboard last year, that was freakin sick.
Other than that, I haven't had too many bad experiences. _________________
