Among the more than 85 new features and enhancements to be unveiled
when EA Sports' Madden NFL 09 hits stores in August, two were created
expressly to allow the gamer to have a unique gameplay experience each
time they load up the game. Both Madden NFL veterans and casual gamers
new to the franchise can utilize the new EA Sports BackTrack and
Virtual Training Center features to be competitive in Madden NFL 09 and
to improve their overall football knowledge, regardless of their
initial skill level. The
Virtual Training Center is a new interactive tutorial mode, set in a
holographic environment designed to teach gamers fundamental concepts
about football strategy and how to use the controls in quick and
stylized drills. After players complete these drills, a Madden IQ score
is given, and their "My Skills" difficulty settings are automatically
determined basked on their strengths and weaknesses. Throughout their
Madden NFL career, the Adaptive Difficulty Engine will continually
tailor the difficulty settings as the gamer's Madden IQ scores evolves.EA
Sports' BackTrack is a new replay learning tool imbedded within the
game that dissects plays and shows the player what they should have
done in certain circumstances. When a mistake is made, NFL analyst Cris
Collinsworth will break down where the user went wrong and what they
could have done better. For advanced players, the feature will give
more technical information such as the play calls that were made and
the success rates of those plays. Madden NFL 09 marks
the 20th anniversary of the popular sports gaming franchise and will be
available in North America on August 12.

I cant wait for Madden to come out. It seems like this will be the best Madden yet.

According to GameSpot, it'll be made for the regular Xbox as well. There hasn't been a game made for that in over a year.

I hope they cut out the lag on the PS2 version,either that or i'll hope for a PS3 by August.

Nice! Even though im not big in football still seems like a major game.

Probably millions of copies sold when it comes out.
